For hundreds of years, Xi'an called Chang'an in the past was the capital of ancient Chinese dynasties. The first landmark in Xi'an is the ancient city wall with more than 1400 years history. This month, a renewed large-scale play dreaming of Chang'an with the spectacular city wall as its background, opened its curtains. Born in 1996, the renewed play was created by a top level team and the director is the assistant director of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of Beijing Olympic Games--Mr. Zhang Jigang. They took two years to deeply analyze the artistic characteristics of the Tang Dynasty, created a fascinating story, unique dance section, and a majestic audio-visual feast.
