An old Qin man's delicious "Mianpi" was brought to the big stage
On the evening of September 12, the local original drama "Mianpi" directed by the Baoji Culture and Tourism Bureau and created and staged by the Baoji Art Theater appeared at the Tongchuan Workers' Cultural Palace. Chai Yi Lighting's high-quality lamps protected this performance and helped the play compete for the Wenhua Outstanding Drama Award at the 10th Shaanxi Provincial Arts Festival.
Chai Yi Lighting's 1400 LED computer cutting lights and 400CL7 sky and ground rows assisted in the live performance of the drama, telling the audience a story about the "Mianpi" and the times, the character and roots of the Qin people, helping to create a unique Xifu drama A dialect drama with strong regional flavor.

The drama "Mianpi" is an original play carefully created by Baoji Art Theater to promote local culture and intangible cultural heritage projects. It uses dough, a traditional snack in Guanzhong, as a clue to tell the story of three generations of Xifu farmers who make and sell dough, and their struggle to increase their income through their own labor. The story eulogizes the old Qin people’s entrepreneurial spirit of constant self-improvement and pioneering spirit.
"Mianpi" is a picture of the changing times of the western countryside, and a song of struggle for the development of the private economy. Through the changes in the destiny of a social cell, a family, it reflects the great changes in the reform and opening up of the city of Baoji. "This drama can bring back the memories of every old Baoji person, because it contains Qin people, Qin sounds, Qin food, and Qin Yun." The spicy and delicious dough, the bold and authentic Baoji dialect, and the Baoji people's favorite Laowan, as well as the finishing touches such as Qin Opera's "Golden Beach", rich folk customs can be seen everywhere.
The play incorporates many elements of the era, region, and folk customs into the stage design, and permeates the charm of traditional Guanzhong culture, making the performance full of the flavor of Lao Baoji and giving the audience an immersive drama experience. In the drama "Mianpi" , the charm of the stage design is impressive, the lighting interpretation is just right, and the style and flavor of Shaanxi are more abundantly presented on the stage, highlighting the fate of the characters, their hearts and the direction of the plot.
