On the evening of October 8, the northern Shaanxi local drama "Spring and Autumn in the Sand Sea", a play for the 10th Shaanxi Provincial Art Festival carefully created and arranged by the Yuyang District Art Troupe, kicked off at the Workers' Cultural Palace in Tongchuan City. It was hard to get a ticket for the performance, the seats were packed, the applause was constant, the emotional scenes were touching, and the atmosphere was warm and fiery.

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, Yulin had been in a situation where sand was advancing and people were retreating for a long time, and the people suffered from the wind and sand. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, under the leadership of the party's grassroots leader Shi Qiang, several generations of sand control workers represented by Xia Yiqi, an intellectual who went out to support northern Shaanxi, Er Leng, a local people in the desert area, and Shi Juan, a female militia sand control company, After seventy years of blood and tears struggle, we finally achieved the gratifying situation of green advancing and desert receding, creating the "Yulin Miracle" in the history of China's desertification control, in which the Mu Us Desert turned into an oasis.
The play is ingenious, organically combining local characteristic music elements of northern Shaanxi with modern stages, and the images look like oil paintings against the backdrop of lights. The stage design and lighting design are full of imaginative tension, showing wonderful moments at different time and space nodes in the past seventy years, and enhancing the atmosphere and artistic conception of the opera itself.
